Jim is a Finance professional with over 25 years of experience in the Consumer Goods Industry, achieving increasing levels of responsibility at both Kraft Foods and now Ingredion Incorporated. Currently, he holds the role of North America Finance Director at Ingredion, a global ingredients solutions company. Within the Roselle community, Jim has been active in coaching both girls' youth basketball and softball teams for several years.Prior to being elected Board President for the 2022-2023 term, Jim served as Board Vice-President and is a member of the Finance Committee. His interests in serving on the board are aligned with the D12 vision of creating a safe space where all students can prepare for limitless opportunities and where all decisions are made based on the needs of students.

She has two children at Spring HillsElementary and a preschooler at home.Dr. Kimberly Duris is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology at Lewis University, Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She is also a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and certified alcohol and drug abuse counselor (CADC) and uses her clinical experience to serve local community mental health agencies. She has worked in the field of counseling since 2000. Her educational background includes a bachelor's degree in psychology and criminal social justice (2000), a Master's of Arts degree in counseling psychology (2003), and a Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) in counselor education and supervision (2015). The nearly two decades of experience in mental health counseling, focusing on children and adolescents have provided her with a wealth of knowledge regarding child development.Kimberly Duris was appointed to the school board in May 2019 and currently serves on the boards' policy committee. Her interest in serving on the board is connected to her goal for all kids to receive a high level of educational, social-emotional, and extracurricular experiences that will serve as the springboard for their adult lives.

She also serves on the Village's Planning and Zoning Commission and is the Treasurer of the Roselle Public Library Foundation. Lydia volunteers with District 12's Parent Teacher Organization and Green Roselle.Lydia is very excited to serve the community as a member of the Board of Education and is focused on ensuring that District 12's children receive an education that sets them up for a lifetime of success, both inside the classroom and out. She wants to engage the entire community so that everyone is invested in student success.Lydia and her spouse have 1 child in District 12.

After retiring from teaching, Sheryl moved back to Roselle where she had previously enjoyed residing. Having been privileged to teach almost every grade level at Spring Hills Elementary during her tenure, Sheryl brings with her a wide knowledge of issues facing education and a student-centered approach to problem solving.Sheryl wants to serve on the Board of Education because, with her amount of experience, she is confident that when given any situation she will make decisions based on what works well for students.As a District 12 Board of Education member, Sheryl plans to listen to all stakeholders, learn the multiple sides of every issue and ask questions in order to make the best decisions for the children and community.Sheryl is honored to work hard and give back to the district and community that has enriched her life so much.

He joined our District 12 Board of Education in 2020.Chris earned a BA in Marketing/MIS from Governors State University and then an MBA in Marketing/Management from DePaul University.Chris has been the President of Shepard Medical Products since 2010. Previously, Chris served as Chicago GM/Regional Director for Larson-Juhl(2002-2009) and Equity Director/GM for Hometown Distributing Co., Inc. (1990-2001).Chris serves in several organizations, including Statesville NRC (New Life Corrections Ministry).
Victoria Tiberi, Board Member
Elected to the Board of Education April 2023
Victoria Tiberi has been a resident of Roselle since 2016. She has a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in psychology and special education from the University of Roosevelt.
Victoria is a strong advocate for children. She has over 25 years of experience working in education as an early childhood teacher, in respite care, and with Early Intervention Service. Her areas of focus are child literacy, 504 plans, IEPs, and building a sense of membership for students through inclusive experiences. Victoria fostered positive connections between parents and teachers to improve children’s academic achievement, social competencies, and emotional well-being.
She believes that a child's social and emotional development can reach its full potential when we identify, acknowledge, and embrace their social and cultural diversity.
Victoria has volunteered at a non-profit organization supporting single mothers, senior centers, multiple animal shelters, and as an assistant trainer for Lutheran Charities Comfort Dogs.
She is delighted to serve on the Board of Education for the community of Roselle.

They have two kids in the district, one at Spring Hills and one at Roselle Middle School.Mr. Zurek is the owner of OakLeaf Consulting LLC and is a leadership coach with more than 30 years of sales and analytical experience in the consumer packaged goods OTC pharmaceutical and food manufacturing industry. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing from North Central College and a Master's of Business Administration from Roosevelt University.Mr. Zurek was one of the principal leaders of the successful campaign to pass the 2016 operating referendum which inspired him to run for and be elected to the board in 2017. Prior to being elected board president for the 2020-2021 term, he was board vice-president and is a member of the finance committee. His interests in serving on the board are grounded in curriculum development, high-quality instruction, and ensuring an environment that gives students a progressive education experience so they can thrive in life.
