Departments

Welcome to our District Departments hub. Our school district is structured into five core areas, each dedicated to ensuring our students have the resources, safety, and high-quality instruction they need to thrive.

Explore the links in the menu to learn more about how we support our schools and community.

Office of the Superintendent

The Superintendent’s office provides the executive leadership and strategic vision for the entire district. This department serves as the primary link between the Board of Education, our staff, and the community, ensuring that all district goals are met with transparency and integrity.

Learning, Teaching, and Technology

The Curriculum office can provide you with information regarding:

  • Curriculum Development: Ensuring what students learn meets state standards and future-ready goals. This also includes information on the curricular areas that families can choose to opt-out student participation.
  • Digital Learning: Managing the hardware and software of our integrated technology, including security and data privacy information.
  • Grading and Reporting: Sharing transparency about how we assess students and use that information to support their continual growth.  This also includes resources to support families with our reporting system, Otus.
  • Early Admission and Acceleration: Providing information on our processes for early entrance to Kindergarten, First Grade, and how our acceleration programming works.

Business and Facilities

The Business office manages the district’s "behind-the-scenes" infrastructure to ensure a safe and sustainable learning environment. This work includes:

  • Financial Oversight: Managing the district budget and taxpayer dollars responsibly.
  • Maintenance & Operations: Keeping our buildings clean, safe, and functional.
  • Capital Projects: Overseeing new construction and school renovations.

Human Resources

The Human Resources office focuses on:

  • Recruitment & Hiring: Attracting top-tier educators and support staff.
  • Employee Relations: Managing benefits, labor agreements, and staff wellness.

Student Services

The Student Services office focuses on the "whole child," providing the specialized support necessary for every student to succeed. This office manages:

  • Special Education: Coordinating individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • English Language Learners (ELL): Providing specialized language instruction and cultural support to help students whose first language is not English achieve academic fluency and success.
  • Homeless Student Services: Ensuring educational stability and access for students experiencing housing transitions, including assistance with enrollment, transportation, and basic school necessities under the McKinney-Vento Act.
